Application
La CMT's flexible milling jig attaches with screws to any wood, MDF and chipboard panel for fast and secure shape creation. Traditional countersunk screws, widely available on the market, can be used for fastening. The template is made of highly elastic and durable plastic, which can be tied in knots without any problem and without losing a bit of flexibility.
All you have to do is screw the template to the edge of the panel to be followed and mill the contour on the guide ring. The folding template is suitable for manual feed on milling machines and workbenches. You can quickly, safely and accurately mill many shapes, including arcs, curved elements or cut-out shapes. Outline the shape precisely and secure it with screws from the underside of a panel previously placed underneath.
If you mill with a guide ring mounted on a spindle moulder, your hands will be a safe distance behind the template. You'll find two profiles in three lengths; note that the smaller profile has the smallest radius, while the larger profile has the largest opening for flat, long curves.
